Blue Ivy Carter honorary Croatian Citizen.

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy has been named an honorary citizen of the Croatian town Hvar, reports that the couple named her after being inspired by a local tree. “The story of the origin of your girl’s name, Blue Ivy, has brought huge media attention and great tourism promotion to the town of Hvar,” said Mayor Pjerino Bebic in a letter sent to the couple, according to local news portal Dalmacija News. “I have decided to grant your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town.” Known as the sunniest town in Croatia, Hvar sits on the island of the same name in the Adriatic Sea. Blue Ivy, born in January, was reportedly named after a tree wrapped in blue ivy the couple had seen on the island during their visit in September 2011, shortly after they announced Beyonce’s pregnancy. Media in Croatia have recently broadcast a video that Beyonce, 30, shot during the visit to Hvar in which she posed next to a tree covered with ivy, saying her child could be named Blue Ivy. The couple have been to visit to the island, which is situated off Croatia’s central Adriatic coast and boasts 320 sunny days a year.

Rihanna arrives in London for Hackney Weekend Show

Rihanna arrives in London yesterday after missing her flight to the UK on several occasions, the Bajan superstar finally caught a flight out and just in time too, as there have been so many controversy in New York where she had been staying, along with Chris Brown and Drake. Sources says though Rihanna misses New York already its good for her to get a break from Chris and Drake's childish behavior. Rihanna who prefer using her twitter to keep fans up to date on what she's up to posted on the site; 'I'm in LONDON bitchesssss,' she then followed up with 'I didn't wanna leave NY! Jay-Z sued over "Decoded" book

Music mogal Jay-Z has had yet another lawsuit filed against him, this time by Patrick White, a man who claims that Jay-Z stole portions from his own book, which he Jay-Z then used in his memoir and lyric book "Decoded" which was released in 2010. Patrick claims that in 2009 his laptop was allegedly taken, and Jay-Z has refused to give him the appropriate credit he is entitled to Mr. White states; "My personal computer was compromised, resulting in my personal work to be used in Jay-Z's book 'Decoded' which was released in 2010. The book [Decoded] contains various expressions/colors/phrases, which correlates to my work. After contacting or attempting to contact the co-author, I got no reply." JayZ is currently still on tour with Kanye West, with only two shows remaining, one in Birmingham UK LG Arena on June 22 and the other in Sheffield. Jay-Z also hinted late last year that a second 'Watch The Throne' release may surface at some point, with all these lawsuits between himself and his famous, bootylicious wife Beyonce, he will need more than the one tour, as Beyonce is currently being sued by a gaming company for $100 million.

Adidas has launched a new collection of footwear that has received so much negative critics before it had hit the shelves, that the company has decided to pull them. The JS Roundhouse Mids, the sportswear company's newest addition of zany Jeremy Scott shoe collaboration. The footwear features shackles, and many people are saying it's reference to slavery is insensitive. Personal Opinion; I don't see what is wrong with the kicks, I mean they aren't the best looking design, however Adidas is running a business, they need ways of promoting new products, this is simply saying that you will fall so deep in love with them, you won't want to take it off, so what's the big deal? On its Facebook page, a rep wrote: “Got a sneaker game so hot, you lock your kicks to your ankles?” So, what do you think? Are the Roundhouse Mids just an instance of creativity gone wrong…and would you buy ‘em?! Really don't understand the meaning of FREEDOM if a company isn't free to release any design they choose.

Rihanna cancels London Trip.

The Sun has reported that Rihanna has pulled out of her commitments to relocate to London for the summer. The "where have you been" singer planned to stay in the capital for ten weeks as she films her TV show, for Sky Living co-starring Nicola Roberts, the sexy red head from Girls Aloud. Rihanna was also due to headline Radio 1's Hackney weekend and was booked as the main attraction at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, RiRi however pulled out at the very last minute without giving an explanation, this I find strange of her as she usually keeps her fans updated via Twitter, and 2 days before she was due to arrive she had tweeted "moving to London to 2 days." fans are beyond upset and worried for the Star as she has had health issues recently, which saw her hooked up to a drip. Her spokesperson has refused to comment further on her UK plans. *Rumours* - Rihanna was due to be staying just a few roads away from Jay-Z in London, unofficial reports are that Beyonce pressured this change of plan due to her own insecurities *Raises eyebrows* I really don't think that's the case, either way hope RiRi feels better soon and get her career back on track.

Peter Rosenberg who was booked to present New York's Hot 97 Summer Jam, apparently insulted "It's Barbie Bitch" and Young Money/Cash Money Queen B earlier this month, the presenter whilst speaking to a crowd in MetLife Stadium took the first shot, insulting the Rapper/PopStar's latest single "StarShips," Peter said "I know there are some chicks in here waiting to sing along with 'Starships' later. I'm not talking to y'all now. F**k that bulls**t," this insult resulted in Wayne requesting that Nicki Pull out of the show. Nicki Minaj on the matter, "After all this has been said and done, I wasn't gonna do 'Starships' and I think people know that. I'm way smarter than that." She then added: "I know what people wanted to see. I think it was just someone trying to be sarcastic, but like every other artist said, it was horrible timing, it was in bad taste. Everybody makes mistakes, but you've got to own your mistake. When you don't own it, then you feel like you can do this in the future and get away with it." The artist continued by adding, "Even artists that were supposed to come out on my set were asked to perform and they said, 'If Nicki's not on that stage, then I'm not on that stage and we gonna ride out on loyalty tonight.'
