Bajan pop star Rihanna has recently burried her beloved grandma "Dolly," in New York. Over the past few weeks the singer has been updating her fans via social network sites Twitter and Instagram, RiRi has been posting photos of herself and he grandma who had been in New York for cancer treatment, which sadly failed her.
Last week she posted an Instagram snap of a note which she had apparently written.
It read: 'IMA TRY TO BE A BIG GIRL NOW #DearDolly.'

In June her grandmother's illness took a turn for the worse, which caused Rihanna to cancel all her engagements and stayed by her bed in New York, where the accident between Chris and Drake occurred.
The international sensation posted a number of photos and wrote: 'My heart smiled and cried all at once #grangranDolly'.

Rihanna continued to pay tributes to her grandmother;
Even my heart cry but who cares?!'
minutes later she posted: 'Words can't explain the essence of her beauty,' she said. 'You and you alone no other one.'

The previous week Rihanna has been jet setting between the USA, her home country Barbados where she attended a second funeral for her grandma,whilst it would have been understandable if she decided to cancel performing in the the UK the star put on her poker face and woowed the crowed just hours after attending her nan's funeral.
Known to surprise her fans but never one to disappoint a waiting crowed, it was business as usual for the young Island star as she performs at Hyde Park hours after her nan's funeral service.
