Blue Ivy Carter honorary Croatian Citizen.

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy has been named an honorary citizen of the Croatian town Hvar, reports that the couple named her after being inspired by a local tree. “The story of the origin of your girl’s name, Blue Ivy, has brought huge media attention and great tourism promotion to the town of Hvar,” said Mayor Pjerino Bebic in a letter sent to the couple, according to local news portal Dalmacija News. “I have decided to grant your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town.” Known as the sunniest town in Croatia, Hvar sits on the island of the same name in the Adriatic Sea. Blue Ivy, born in January, was reportedly named after a tree wrapped in blue ivy the couple had seen on the island during their visit in September 2011, shortly after they announced Beyonce’s pregnancy. Media in Croatia have recently broadcast a video that Beyonce, 30, shot during the visit to Hvar in which she posed next to a tree covered with ivy, saying her child could be named Blue Ivy. The couple have been to visit to the island, which is situated off Croatia’s central Adriatic coast and boasts 320 sunny days a year.

Rihanna arrives in London yesterday after missing her flight to the UK on several occasions, the Bajan superstar finally caught a flight out and just in time too, as there have been so many controversy in New York where she had been staying, along with Chris Brown and Drake. Sources says though Rihanna misses New York already its good for her to get a break from Chris and Drake's childish behavior. Rihanna who prefer using her twitter to keep fans up to date on what she's up to posted on the site; 'I'm in LONDON bitchesssss,' she then followed up with 'I didn't wanna leave NY! I kept missing my flights hehehe.' Our insider also confirms that Rihanna will be working with several UK DJ's and producers in the coming months; 'Rihanna is working with Marina and the Diamonds' boyfriend Burns, a Brighton-based producer who is good mates with Calvin Harris," a source told The Mirror. "They've booked three days in the studio, which they'll fit around him doing some work with Kelis. Rihanna's also working with Nicky Romero, another DJ and pal of Calvin." Jay-Z sued over "Decoded" book

Music mogal Jay-Z has had yet another lawsuit filed against him, this time by Patrick White, a man who claims that Jay-Z stole portions from his own book, which he Jay-Z then used in his memoir and lyric book "Decoded" which was released in 2010. Patrick claims that in 2009 his laptop was allegedly taken, and Jay-Z has refused to give him the appropriate credit he is entitled to Mr. White states; "My personal computer was compromised, resulting in my personal work to be used in Jay-Z's book 'Decoded' which was released in 2010. The book [Decoded] contains various expressions/colors/phrases, which correlates to my work. After contacting or attempting to contact the co-author, I got no reply." JayZ is currently still on tour with Kanye West, with only two shows remaining, one in Birmingham UK LG Arena on June 22 and the other in Sheffield. Jay-Z also hinted late last year that a second 'Watch The Throne' release may surface at some point, with all these lawsuits between himself and his famous, bootylicious wife Beyonce, he will need more than the one tour, as Beyonce is currently being sued by a gaming company for $100 million.

Adidas has launched a new collection of footwear that has received so much negative critics before it had hit the shelves, that the company has decided to pull them. The JS Roundhouse Mids, the sportswear company's newest addition of zany Jeremy Scott shoe collaboration. The footwear features shackles, and many people are saying it's reference to slavery is insensitive. Personal Opinion; I don't see what is wrong with the kicks, I mean they aren't the best looking design, however Adidas is running a business, they need ways of promoting new products, this is simply saying that you will fall so deep in love with them, you won't want to take it off, so what's the big deal? On its Facebook page, a rep wrote: “Got a sneaker game so hot, you lock your kicks to your ankles?” So, what do you think? Are the Roundhouse Mids just an instance of creativity gone wrong…and would you buy ‘em?! Really don't understand the meaning of FREEDOM if a company isn't free to release any design they choose.

Since the Drake and Chris Brown fight a few days ago in New York City, Rihanna has been the center of even more negative attention.
